Race HQ is the Duke of Marlborough Tavern
Located in York Street, just one street back from the waterfront, The Tavern is race HQ and party host throughout the weekend. From Friday to Saturday it will be open 24 hours. Here's their programme:
Friday Night: live music on deck till 9pm, then band, SideTrack inside on stage till 1am Saturday Morning, 1Am to 3 Am DJ VOO, 3am to 6am house system. Bar open till 6am, then no alcohol available for two hours till to 8am.
Kitchen open 24hrs, with breakfast served from 6am. free hot curry etc available for those arriving in the early hours.
Hot drinks/ coffee also available.
Hell Hole bagelry open from 6am, as well as a couple of food trucks in carpark.
Saturday, entertainment in carpark and on tavern decks, live music in arvo, followed by prize giving in the tent and then 5k blasting away till 1am Sunday on the main stage.
Multiple bars available on site for the duration of the weekend.
Full menu, wood fired pizzas, coffee, desserts also available.
Breakfast served Saturday ( from 6 am) and Sunday ( from 7.30 am) mornings .

The Bay of Islands Swordfish Club and The Butterfish Café will also be open in Russell for Breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday during your Coastal Classic race over Labour week end.
Both premises are on the water front just off the wharf on the right hand side.
